About Tomoae

TOMOAE : In Japanese “TOMOAE” means whirlpool or a circular motion. Whirlpool never stops neither does a childs development. A Japanese school of the same name was the inspiration for TOMOAE Amravati. The school provided every child the congenial environment for learning. It made a difference in the field of teaching- learning. Tomoae’s founder director dreamt of the same school in India. and realised that dream in TOMOAE Montessori : A House of Children.

Tomoae school’s logo depicts the Yin-Yang philosophy it says that ” Opposite or contrary forces are complementary, interconnected and interdependent”.

The School strives to maintain a perfect balance of emotional and intellectual development of a child.

Tomoae Vision

“Our vision at Tomoae Primary School is to empower students to acquire, demonstrate, articulate and value knowledge and skills that will support them as lifelong learners, to participate in and contribute to the global world and practice the core values of the school: Respect, tolerance, inclusion and excellence.”

The Journey In Time

The legacy of Tomoae was started in the year 2000 by Mrs. Jayamala Jadhav under the strong support and guidance of Mr. Jayawant Jadhav. Her residence was chosen as the first environment for initiating a new venture- Tomoae Montessori : A house of children.

A few students and a handful of dedicated teachers shared her dream. Since then the school has never looked back and has proven itself the best known school in Amravati city. The journey started with one Montessori environment and now we have five different environments for Montessori school at the center of the city and one for high school (Std I to X) in the lap of nature at Kathora village, Amravati. This co-education English medium school is truly top notch.

School is affiliated to the “Council of Indian School Certificate examination (CISCE). It issues certificates ICSE ( Indian Certificate of secondary education ) to the students of std X and ISC ( Indian school certificate), to the students of std. XII.
