Montessori Education is divided into five key sections, each focusing on different aspects of a child's development. These sections are :- 1) Exercises of Practical Life [EPL]:- Activities that help children develop independence, concentration and the fine motor skills. Tasks includes pouring, buttoning, sweeping, sorting, washing and many more. It satisfies the child's inner urge. 2) Sensorial:- Exercises designed to refine the senses and keep children classify & order their sensory experiences. Activities involving material that focus on touch, sight, sound, taste and smell such as colour tablets, sound boxes, tasting bottles, tactile material and many more. 3) Mathematics:- Material that helps children understand all mathematical concepts through hands on learning. It helps to understand quantity first & then the number symbols. Activities like Number rods, Sandpaper numbers, Seguin boards, Decimal, Stamp game, Dot game. 4) Language:- Montessori Classroom provides language rich environment where teachers & peers engage children in the meaningful conversation and discussion through different activities from the day one. For language sky is the limit. Tools & activities to develop communication skills, reading and writing. Focuses on Phonetics, vocabulary development and grammar in a very effective way, using different material. Language develop with special material like Sandpaper letters, Sound bags, Movable alphabets and lot many. 5) Social Behaviour:- The Social Behaviour section of Montessori Education often integrated into the cultural development and Practical Life, focus on teaching children essential social skills & behaviour. As our school is a small society, and society has some rules & regulations. Use of courtesy words. In the Montessori environment it helps them to develop good habits, cultivates etiquettes and manners. Together these sections provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to a child's cognitive, emotional and social development.
